‘The swastikas did not fully come off’: Tesla owner speaks out after Cybertruck vandalism

Tesla Cybertrucks have been damaged and vandalized across the country, including multiple in Washington at Tesla dealerships. One Tesla owner tells “The Jason Rantz Show” on KTTH that he’s still dealing with the aftermath of his vehicle being targeted.

“I got a call from Tesla around 2:30 Monday afternoon that my Cybertruck was vandalized while in service at the Lynnwood service center,” a Tesla Cybertruck owner, who asked to remain anonymous, said on “The Jason Rantz Show” on KTTH. “They didn’t quite tell me what the symbols were, but I had a hunch at the time what they were, and then I confirmed it later that evening when I saw that there were Nazi swastikas painted on my Cybertruck and five others in the lot as well.”

Tesla owner calls this ‘domestic terrorism’

The graffiti at the Tesla service center in Lynnwood was directed specifically at Tesla CEO Elon Musk. An employee at the dealership told the Lynnwood Police Department (LPD) that the incident likely occurred on March 8 between midnight and 7 a.m.

A positive from this attack, according to the Cybertruck owner, is how helpful Tesla has been in response.

“Tesla has been absolutely phenomenal,” he said. “I actually have friends that work at some other dealerships, non-Tesla dealerships, and they all said that if this would have happened on our lot, we would have made you go through your insurance and pay for it. Tesla, on the other hand, is taking care of it 100%. They’re cutting me a check for the whole thing.”

Unfortunately, due to his vehicle being wrapped in a matte black vinyl wrap, remnants of the graffiti still remain.

“The swastikas did not fully come off of the vehicle,” he told “The Jason Rantz Show” on KTTH. “So, they are going to fully replace each side of the wrap for me and pay for it.”

The driver said federal law enforcement must get involved because this is “domestic terrorism.” President Donald Trump has echoed the same sentiment.
